Sanibel Inn, Sanibel

The hotel offers spacious rooms with incredible beach views, but they appear outdated. The service is hit or miss, with lazy staff and unhelpful attitudes. The location is charming but surrounded by constant activity. Dining is delicious, particularly breakfast, and the facilities are average.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel as it turned out to be a 2 bed 2 bath apartment, which was a lovely bonus. The room was large, clean, and had all the essentials like coffee/tea, a fridge, and a spacious terrace. Although the decor was starting to show its age, it was adequate for our needs.

The hotel provided spacious rooms with comfortable beds and an ideal kitchen area, complemented by a screened-in terrace offering a mini-fridge and microwave. Despite the well-landscaped surroundings, the room had a noticeable musty smell. The service was exceptional, except for one encounter with a not-so-polite manager. The hotel's gorgeous location, although slightly worn in some areas, offered stunning views of the ocean and easy access to various activities. The dining options were satisfactory, with tasty meals but room for improvement. The facilities, including laundry services, were well-maintained and convenient.
